Cammy's Island is the more personal website of me, mariteaux. While that site houses my game modding, music, writing, writing about music, and animal people artwork, this site is for my fuzzy memories, daily adventures (both in the Aboveground section), and obscure fascinations (in the Underground section) instead.

Who is mariteaux?

mariteaux is Cameron, a Pennsylvania-based sperg who likes the analog world. He's informally married to a girl from Wales named Caby. They'll be seeing each other again in July 2025. <3

In his spare time, he can be found watching Oddity Archive, playing old games for RetroAchievements (or Guitar Hero, also for RetroAchievements), and listening to various fuzzy and dreamy 90s alt-rock albums.

Who's the badger featured all over the site? Where'd the dog go?

Cammy! My namesake sona and my main one. Originally, Cammy's Island featured a dog named Setter as the mascot (because he was easiest to draw when I was just starting out), but Setter has been moved to lofi.mari.somnol, where he rocks the 90s look to match the Mac OS 8 site styling.
